About Me
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Many of us carry struggles that are hidden from others, and when left unresolved, they can affect our well-being, relationships, and even our outlook on life. I once faced challenges so overwhelming that I believed no one could understand or help. Fortunately, with the support of loved ones, I found a way through. This experience opened my eyes to the silent suffering of those who lacked the support I had. It became my mission to help people share their stories and improve their lives.
I have worked as a therapist in corporate environments, including one of the largest law firms in Malaysia. My background in Human Resources deepened my understanding of the challenges people face both personally and professionally. Additionally, my research on narcissism, psychopathy, and machiavellianism informs my work with clients who have difficult relationships with individuals exhibiting these traits—whether in personal, familial, or professional settings. In therapy, I often support young adults and seniors navigating the complexities of each life stage. I welcome clients from all races, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations, recognising that even when two people face similar challenges, their perspectives and needs are unique. I tailor my approach to each person’s specific experiences.
My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which focuses on replacing unhelpful perspectives with healthier, more grounded ones. Integrating a trauma-informed lens into my work, I ensure compassion and understanding with clients who have experienced unpleasant events. Additionally, I incorporate elements of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), sharing practical skills like distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. I describe myself as easygoing, honest, and curious. As your therapist, I combine these traits with empathy, acceptance, and insight to help you reach your goals.
If you’re seeking support, I’d be honoured to help in any way I can.
