About Me

When I was in high school, I remember reading news about people suffering from mental health issues and consequently, committing suicide. Then, I began wondering, “if someone was there to listen, would it have made a difference?”. This sparked my passion to be a mental health therapist. Growing up, I’ve seen people from all walks of life having their own struggles, including myself, and it can feel helpless and lonely. This further motivated me to gain professional knowledge, skills and experience in journeying with others to achieve self-growth and inner peace. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, seen and valued.


​​I have clinical experience working with teens, young to middle age adults, and families from various backgrounds. I also have experience working in a corporate setting, conducting individual sessions to promote workplace wellness. I was also involved in community outreach programmes by facilitating group wellness sessions in an old folks home to provide emotional support, as well as parent support groups within the special needs community.


My work is mainly guided by Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT focuses on awareness, acceptance, expression, regulation and transformation of emotions as well as corrective emotional experience, which consequently influence our thoughts and behaviours. With that, one can create a new meaning of self and the world. I also incorporate other therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy while applying techniques such as expressive arts, narration and somatic experiencing.


If you are looking to understand and learn more about yourself, I encourage you to give therapy a try. As your therapist, I aspire to hold a comfortable and safe space for you to be yourself. I will walk alongside you, embark on a journey of discovery and healing. Though there might be bumpy roads, we can work through them together.
